Now it's time for a quest of your own!
Go to the Odyssey Quest. Read the introduction page thoroughly and click on the ship to progress through the webquest. Your finished product will be a PowerPoint (or Prezi) depicting your encounter with Odysseus from the point of view of another character. Be prepared to present this to the class. You will be assessed according to the rubric on the Odyssey Quest webquest.

The Odyssey #5: Mapping the Odyssey
1. Using the library thinkquest (http://library.thinkquest.org/19300/data/homerhist.htm), click on the link at the bottom of the page labeled “Odyssey”. Then click on “The Travels of Odysseus”.
2. Trace the travels of Odysseus the map of Ancient Greece below, using a colored pencil or marker
3. Finally, make an illustrated timeline of Odysseus’ travels using the information found in “The Travels of Odysseus”. You will have to be creative. How will you illustrate this? Will use use paper and markers or will use use technology. There are two free online timeline makers: Timetoast or xtimeline. Both are easy to use, but xtimeline allows you to upload pictures or videos as an added bonus. You must include no fewer than 10 key points. When you are finished, please post a link here on the blog. You may be asked to present your timeline to the class.
