Red Badge of Courage #4: Reading and Study Guide

Now that our preliminary work on the Civil War is finished, it's time to read Stephan Crane's The Red Badge of Courage.  While reading, you will be using this Study Guide.  Print out pages 1-24 only of the study guide and use it while you are reading.  There are four sections of the study guide and it is broken down as follows:

1. Introduction - more information on Stephan Crane and the Civil war.  Read this before you begin the text.
2. Chapters 1-7
3. Chapters 8-16
4. Chapters 17-24

Within sections 2-4, please do the following activities:  Before you Read; Active Reading; Responding.  Do not do the Literature and Writing sections of each section. (Do not do pages 25-29)
